Betsy B. Burgos

Betsy B. Burgos, Ph.D., EdS, currently serves as the Chief Learning Officer at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, a position held since July 2024. Additionally, Betsy is the System Director of Learning and Leadership Development at Covenant Health since May 2022 and an Executive Board Member at FAAST, Inc., contributing to the Policy Advocacy Committee and Service Delivery Committee since January 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Program Director at Webber International University from August 2020 to May 2022. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Computing Technology in Education and a Post Graduate Certificate in Educational Specialist from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Arts in Assistive Technology from New York University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Occupational Therapy from Universidad de Puerto Rico.
