Stephen J. Grubbs

Stephen J. Grubbs serves as President/CEO of Covenant Health. In this top leadership position, he is responsible for developing and implementing corporate strategies, system integration and operational performance. He brings to this role extensive administrative experience including tenure as President/CEO of Bay Medical Center Sacred Heart Health System in Panama City, Florida, a full-service acute care hospital designated as the region’s level II trauma center comprised of three campuses. Steve also has served as CEO, Paris for Regional Care Hospital Partners in Paris (TX), a 368 licensed bed full service hospital as well as CEO of Regional Hospital of Jackson (TN), part of the Community Health Systems, Inc. (CHS), network. He worked with CHS for 14 years serving as CEO or CFO at hospitals in Tennessee and Pennsylvania.

Steve earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky and his MBA from Bethel University. He is a member of the Covenant Health Board of Directors as well as Yankee Alliance in Andover, MA.
