Hillary Powell

Hillary Powell is an experienced professional in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as a Grant Writer at Covenant House New Jersey since April 2019. Prior to this role, Hillary worked as a Volunteer Recruitment Associate at Change For Kids from February 2016 to April 2019, where responsibilities included recruiting and managing volunteers and liaising with the Education Department to enhance educational opportunities. Hillary's earlier experience includes over nine years as a Music Educator and Interim Coordinator of the Music Adventures Program at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, where early childhood music programs were designed and taught to underserved children. Hillary holds a Master’s Degree in Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Drama from Duke University.
