Maria Martinez-Fuentes has extensive experience in resource management and service coordination, currently serving as a Resource Specialist and Data Manager at Covenant House New Jersey since July 2021, where responsibilities include developing and evaluating client goal plans and participating in case management meetings. Previously, at City Year from July 2019 to June 2021, Maria led a team of AmeriCorps members to support teachers and students, transitioning classrooms to virtual learning. Early career roles include serving as Lead Queer Peer Services Coordinator at Ramapo College, where community programs and LGBTQ+ discussion groups were facilitated, and working as an Environmental Non-Profit Advocacy Intern at Clean Water Action. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
