Susana Monteiro currently serves as a Major Gifts Officer at Covenant House New Jersey since December 2019, where the organization provides essential services to homeless youth aged 18-21. Additionally, Susana has been a Development Manager at Covenant House since April 2013. Previous experience includes a role as a Recruiter at Montclair State University's Teacher Education Advocacy Center, and a Sr. Program Director at Junior Achievement of New Jersey from 1998 to 2012. Early career work includes an intern position in Human Resources at Passaic Valley Sewerage Commissioners and customer service roles at Holiday Inn and Howard Johnson Hotels from 1993 to 1997. Susana holds a BS in Special Events and Leisure Studies from Montclair State University.
