Cassandra Saimond

Cassandra Saimond is a seasoned mental health professional currently serving as the Deputy Director of Mental Health at Covenant House New York since June 2023. Previously, Cassandra held the roles of Clinical/Prevention Supervisor and Prevention Social Worker at New Alternatives For Children from November 2016 to May 2023. Additional experience includes working as a Riverside Park Programming Assistant for the New York Department of Parks and Recreation and as a Social Work Intern at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell. Cassandra began her career with various internships focused on providing social support and therapeutic assistance to adolescent girls in group homes. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology and Art History from Connecticut College.
