Alex Gontarek

Alex Gontarek, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Manager of HR Business Partner at Covenant, directing exempt-level HR professionals in regulatory compliance and employee relations while collaborating with the Continuous Improvement team to enhance HR processes. Previously, Alex held the position of Regional HR Business Partner at U.S. Xpress, Inc., focusing on partnership with management and managing employee relations issues. Prior HR roles include an HR Generalist position at Covenant and a Human Resources Coordinator at Food City / KVAT Foods Inc., where effective talent management resulted in a significant reduction in turnover. Alex holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Human Resources Management and Business Management from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
