Jen Berrent

Jen Berrent has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Currently, they serve as the Chief Executive Officer at Covenant since June 2021. Prior to this, they were the Director at HYPOTHEkids starting from September 2020. Jen also worked as an Adjunct Professor at New York University School of Law from January 2022 to May 2022.

Before their current roles, Berrent held various positions at WeWork, including Chief Legal Officer, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Legal Officer, and Chief Culture Officer & Chief Legal Officer, from October 2014 to December 2020.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Partner at WilmerHale from March 2006 to October 2014. Jen also served as an Associate at Covington & Burling from May 2003 to March 2006 and as an Associate General Counsel at Longitude, Inc. from September 2000 to May 2003.

Berrent started their career as a Senior Manager, Strategic Planning at American Express from May 1996 to July 1997 and as an Associate at The Parthenon Group from May 1994 to May 1996.

Jen Berrent obtained their Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law from New York University School of Law, from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing at The Wharton School between 1990 and 1993. For their secondary education, they attended Roslyn High School from 1986 to 1990.
