Emma Young

Emma Young is an experienced physiotherapist currently serving as the First Team Physiotherapist at Coventry City Football Club since June 2022. Prior experience includes roles such as Head of Medical, First Team Sport Rehabilitator, and Academy Therapist at Chesterfield Football Club from November 2019 to June 2022, and Academy Therapist at Mansfield Town Football Club. Emma has a strong background in providing pitch-side first aid, assessments, rehabilitation techniques, and strength and conditioning, alongside previous positions at Clipstone FC, Chesterfield FC Women’s Academy, and Spire Healthcare Group plc. Emma holds an MSc in pre-registration Physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University and a BSc Hons in Sports Rehabilitation from the University of Hull, with ongoing studies in Sport Physiotherapy at the University of Bath.
