Assistant Professor & Course Director, Graphic Design at Coventry University

Kirsti Itameri serves as an Assistant Professor and Course Director for Graphic Design at Coventry University, overseeing the graphic design department at the Cairo branch campus. With extensive experience in graphic design, Kirsti has also held positions as Graphic Designer and Art Director at Lzbth Wlsn Dsgns and Greenlight Media Strategies, creating materials for a range of clients including political and nonprofit organizations. As a Multimedia Coach at CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, Kirsti supports students and faculty in various multimedia projects. Additionally, Kirsti co-founded "I Marched Along," an award-winning multimedia project showcasing interviews about women's futures in post-uprising Egypt. Previous roles include Visual Instructor and Editor at The New York Times and Adjunct Professor at Florida International University, focusing on multimedia journalism education. Kirsti holds an MA in International Reporting from CUNY Graduate School of Journalism and a BFA in Photography from Parsons School of Design.
