Hong Tran

Hong Tran has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies. Most recently, they worked as the Head of Internal Audit at Cover-More Group starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Director at Colonial First State from March 2022 to May 2023. They also worked at BT as the Executive Manager for Risk and Compliance from February 2020 to March 2022, and as the Senior Manager for Risk and Compliance from April 2018 to February 2020. Before BT, Hong Tran worked at Westpac as the Compliance Assurance Manager from December 2015 to March 2018 and as the Audit Manager from November 2011 to November 2015. They started their career as a Financial Accountant at Challenger Financial Services Group from April 2011 to October 2011. Their first job was as a Senior Analyst at Deloitte Australia from February 2008 to March 2011.

Hong Tran's education history includes several qualifications in the field of finance and anti-money laundering. In 2009, they obtained a GradDipCA from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. In 2013, they earned a Diploma of Financial Planning from the International Institute of Technology. Later, in 2016 and 2017, they pursued further education with the Alliance Manchester Business School, completing an International Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering, and the Australian Financial Markets Association, where they obtained a Graduate Diploma of Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing.
