Dan Cashman

Dan Cashman has extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Dan started their career at ROH Incorporated as a Systems Engineer in 2005. Dan then worked as a Technical Lead at Cynergy Systems from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they worked as a Senior Software Consultant as a self-employed freelancer from 2010 to 2013.

In 2013, Dan joined Celerity as a Director of Technology and held this role until 2016. Dan then moved to U.Group, where they served as a Senior Director of Engineering from 2016 to 2019. After that, they joined BoxBoat Technologies as a Director of Engineering, where they worked from 2019 to 2022.

Most recently, Dan has taken on the role of Director of Engineering at Canopy Software from February 2022 to August 2022. Dan is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Cover Whale since August 2022.

Dan Cashman earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from James Madison University from the years 1997 to 2001. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following: GitLab Verified Sales Core from GitLab in February 2021, GitLab Certified Professional Services Engineer from GitLab Inc. in November 2020, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020, and a certification in Preventing Workplace Harassment from Emtrain (obtained timeline not specified).
