Mike Grant has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Mike began their career in the US Army, serving as a Specialist in the U.S. Army Active from 1986 to 1990, and later as a Sergeant in the California Army National Guard from 1990 to 1994. Following their military service, Mike joined the Los Angeles Police Department in 1991, where they worked until 2005. During this time, they also served as a School Resource Police Officer for the KHSDPD from 2005 to 2007 and received recognition for their outstanding performance. Mike then transitioned to the Stallion Springs Police Department, starting as the Chief of Police and Periodic City Manager from 2007 to 2019 and continuing as a Reserve Police Officer since 2019. Mike'sdedication and contributions to law enforcement were acknowledged through commendations and awards. In 2019, Mike joined Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts as the Director of Security, Safety, Hygiene, and in 2020, they became the Chief Operations Officer at Covered 6.

Mike Grant's education history includes a Graduate degree in Futuring & Executive Leadership from Command College. Mike also has a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Ashworth College. Furthermore, they completed various courses and training programs such as an Executive Development Course and Management Course from CA POST, a Supervisory Course from CA POST, and the LAPD Academy.
