PremKumar Karunakaran

PremKumar Karunakaran has over 20 years of work experience, starting their career as a Programmer at BTree Infotech in 1999. PremKumar then worked as an Engineer at Ada Software & Services before joining Cordiant Technologies as an Analyst Programmer. At Cordiant Technologies, they designed and coded critical modules for a web-based JEE application.

In 2003, Karunakaran joined IBS Software Services as a Senior System Architect, leading the Architecture team for the Tour partner product. PremKumar also finalized the architecture for iretail and rds projects.

In 2010, Karunakaran joined Infosys Technologies Ltd as a Senior Technology Architect. PremKumar played a key role in proposal submissions, client presentations, and solution architecture for retail and logistics projects.

From 2013 to 2014, Karunakaran was self-employed and worked on a startup initiative called Givelu, which focused on personalized gift recommendations using machine learning algorithms.

In 2019, Karunakaran worked as a Director & Principal Architect at Catalyca for a short period before becoming an Independent Consultant. As an Independent Consultant, they served as a Software Architect, Consultant, providing their expertise in software architecture.

Karunakaran is currently working at CoverSelf as a Director & Senior Principal Architect, starting in September 2021.

PremKumar Karunakaran completed their undergraduate education at Cochin University of Science and Technology from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a B.TECH degree in Electronics Engineering.
