Christian Baerbig

Christian Baerbig has extensive experience in procurement and project management, currently serving as the Head of Site Procurement Hub Europe at Covestro since June 2015, where leadership of a team of over 30 professionals across four countries is key in managing a spend of approximately 700 million EUR annually. Previous roles at Covestro include Head of Site Procurement and Section Head Site Services Procurement, demonstrating a track record in managing substantial procurement activities. Prior to Covestro, Christian held various positions at Bayer from October 2007 to August 2013, including IT Solutions Consultant and Project Management Office roles, focusing on major software rollouts and project coordination in the Asia Pacific region. Education includes an MBA from National Taiwan University and a B.Sc. in Business Information Systems from The Berlin School of Economics and Law.
