Dragos Popescu

Dragos Popescu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical application management and project leadership in the materials science sector. Currently serving as the Global Technical Application Manager for Fiber Optic Materials at Covestro since April 2021, Dragos previously held multiple roles at DSM from August 2010 to April 2021, including Technical Application Manager, Product Manager, and Group Lead in Curing and Stabilization. Dragos has also worked as a Project Manager and Scientist at DSM, focusing on innovative product development and improving project management culture. Dragos earned a Ph.D. in Macromolecular Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University and holds two degrees from the University of Bucharest in Therapeutical Chemistry and Biochemistry.
