Gonzalo Cambero Chaves

Gonzalo Cambero Chaves is a production expert at Covestro since June 2023. Prior to this role, Gonzalo served as a process automation and control engineer at Ayesa from July 2018 to June 2023, focusing on P&ID preparation and equipment specifications. Previous experience includes a research fellow position at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems, where Gonzalo worked on the separation of enantiomers by preferential crystallization, and another research fellow role at Universidad de Oviedo, concentrating on chemical fractionation for the characterization of residual biomass. Additional research experience includes optimizing biodiesel separation processes at Universidad de Salamanca. Gonzalo holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Oviedo and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Salamanca, along with a C2 Proficiency certification from ILAC International College.
