Maik Araiz y Lopez

Maik Araiz y Lopez has been with Covestro since September 2015, serving in various capacities related to export control and foreign trade law compliance. Currently, Maik holds the position of Coordinator Foreign Trade Law Compliance, overseeing global compliance efforts and training initiatives. Previous roles include Global Process Owner for Global Trade Services, Deputy Export Control Officer for the EMLA and EMEA regions, and Specialist in Export Control & Community Management. Prior to joining Covestro, Maik worked at Bayer from June 2008 to August 2015 as a Logistic Operator, managing transportation planning and training logistics department apprentices. Throughout this career, Maik has developed strategic concepts for export control, managed communication between business and IT, and acted as a primary contact for regional authorities.
