Milind Bisen

Milind Bisen, PhD, is a Process Chemist and Chemical Specialist at Covestro since July 2015, with expertise in the production of polyurethane isocyanates MDI, TDI, and modified isocyanates. Responsibilities include implementing process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce costs, alongside supporting development projects for polyurethane at the Baytown site. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Southern Illinois University, where Milind specialized in photopolymerization and characterization of polymer brushes. Earlier positions involved R&D engineering at Gharda Chemicals Limited, synthesizing pigments and herbicides, and an undergraduate research role at the Institute of Chemical Technology. Milind holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry and Polymer Chemistry from Southern Illinois University and a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology.
