Tim Hungerland

Tim Hungerland has extensive experience in the field of chemistry, currently serving as Laborleiter Polycarbonates at Covestro since July 2015, focusing on resin development for polycarbonate materials. Prior to this role, Tim held postdoctoral positions at ETH Zurich from October 2013 to June 2015, specializing in the synthesis of two-dimensional polymers at air-water interfaces, and at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen from December 2009 to July 2013, where the synthesis of molecular switches via palladium-catalyzed domino-reactions was the primary research focus. Tim obtained a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Chemistry from Universität Göttingen in 2013, following a Dipl.-Chem. degree from the same institution in 2009, alongside additional education at ETH Zürich.
