Valerie Minnick

Valerie Minnick is a dedicated individual pursuing a Doctor of Optometry degree at Indiana University Bloomington, with an expected graduation in May 2028. Currently an Optometry Student, Valerie also serves as a Quality Control Lab Intern at Covestro, where key responsibilities include monitoring chemical quality, utilizing SAP software for communication, calibrating instruments, and improving scientific documentation. Additional experience includes instructing over 500 drum majors as a Seasonal Camp Instructor at Smith Walbridge Clinics and implementing marketing strategies as a Social Media Marketing Intern for the Purdue Office of Undergraduate Research. Prior experience includes a role as a Seasonal Plant Nursery Retail Associate at Bordine Nursery, where customer service and gardening design were emphasized. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Purdue University, obtained in May 2024.
