Yalda Farhoudi

Yalda Farhoudi has extensive experience in product and process development, particularly in the specialty films and TPU sectors. Currently serving at Covestro since May 2017, Yalda's previous roles include Principal Research Scientist at Eastman Chemical Company, where responsibilities involved leading projects, scaling up new product production, and statistical data analysis. Prior experience at Solutia included Senior Research Specialist, focusing on process evaluation, prototype production, and leading quality improvement initiatives. Yalda began a career as a Research Specialist at Solutia Inc., studying surface topographies and addressing melt fracture defects. Early career at McGill University involved research and teaching assistance while obtaining a PhD and Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
