Bill Hanifin

Bill Hanifin has worked in a variety of roles in the IT industry. Bill began their career in 2008 as a Cashier at Twins Enterprise. In 2013, they took on the role of IT Administration Intern at IANS, where they acted as sole IT admin and employee for 40+ individuals, maintaining and supporting the pre-existing network. In 2016, they joined Cyber City as a Systems Administrator/Security Analyst and System Support Technician. In 2020, they moved to LISS Consulting Corp. as a Client Services/Escalations. Bill is currently employed at Coveware as a DevOps Security Engineer, a role they have held since 2022.

Bill Hanifin attended Dexter Southfield School from 2007 to 2011. Bill then attended Pomfret School from 2011 to 2012. Bill then attended Fordham University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration. In 2017, they attended Fordham University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, where they earned a Master's Degree in Cybersecurity. Additionally, Bill Hanifin has obtained several certifications, including 3CX Basic Certification and 3CX Intermediate Certification from 3CX in April 2020, CAE-CD from the National Security Agency in May 2019, and Mimecast Gateway Technical Specialist from Mimecast in March 2020.
