David Hayes

David Hayes has a diverse work experience in the manufacturing industry. David worked at Covia since 2018, starting as a Mine Engineer and progressing to become a Plant Supervisor and then Regional General Manager. In 2019, they joined Unimin Corporation as a Plant Manager and later became a Regional General Manager. Prior to that, David worked at Unimin Corporation for several years, holding positions such as Plant Superintendent and Plant Manager. David began their career at OxyChem as a Mine Engineer in 1989. Currently, David serves as the Director of Operations at Covia.

David Hayes graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering.
