Abby Wright

Abby Wright is currently Of Counsel at Covington & Burling LLP, a position they have held since 2025. They served as Deputy Director at the U.S. Department of Justice from 2024 to 2025 and were a Law Clerk at the United States Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals, First Circuit between 2006 and 2008. Additionally, Abby was a Lecturer in Law at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School in 2021 and gained early experience as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley from 2002 to 2003. Abby holds a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, a Master’s in Linguistics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s in English from Purdue University.
