Chaitanya Baddam

Chaitanya Baddam has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Chaitanya is currently serving as the Chief Data Officer at COVU since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at John Hancock from September 2016 to May 2022 as the Director of Technology, leading the development and deployment of technology solutions for a rapidly growing digital business.

Before that, Chaitanya held the role of (Technical) Program Manager at NTT DATA Services from February 2011 to August 2016, where they oversaw the delivery of state and local projects in Massachusetts. Chaitanya successfully delivered critical systems for organizations such as the Department of Public Safety and the Division of Banks.

In 2008, Chaitanya served as the Technology Lead at Karmaloop.com, where they played a pivotal role in managing the technology platform and contributing to the company's growth. Prior to that, they held technical lead roles at CGI and Citigroup.

Chaitanya began their career as a Software Developer at Siris Soft, Hyderabad, India in June 2003 and worked there until April 2005.

Chaitanya Baddam pursued their education first at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Later, they attended Boston University from 2006 to 2010, during which they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems. Currently, Chaitanya is enrolled at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management from 2021 to 2023, pursuing an Executive MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
