Allison Keaney, PhD, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Cow Palace Arena & Event Center, a position held since June 2022. Previously, Allison held similar CEO roles at Cloverdale Citrus Fair and Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds & Event Center from October 2021 to July 2022 and March 2018 to October 2021, respectively. Earlier in the career, Allison worked at the University of California as a Community Education Specialist for 4-H from November 2009 to March 2018 and spent several years at Round Table Pizza, Inc. in various leadership roles, including Director of Human Resources & Training. Furthermore, experience includes a Field Learning Manager and Multi Unit Manager position at Taco Bell, Inc. Allison earned a PhD in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Capella University, an MBA in Business Administration and Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from San Francisco State University.

The Cow Palace is officially the 1-A District Agricultural Association, a State agency of the California Department of Food and Agriculture's Division of Fairs and Expositions. Their mission statement is to promote and showcase a variety of entertainment and events to serve the needs and reflect the cultural diversity of the community, conduct annually a unique event, The Grand National Livestock Expo, Horse Show, & Rodeo, and continue to encourage youth participation in the agricultural industry and to provide a well-managed, year round multi use facility for the use and enjoyment of the Bay Area and surrounding communities.
