Eric Blockie serves as the Deputy Executive Director at Cow Palace Arena & Event Center since January 2023, focusing on programming, marketing, RFPs, financial models, and operations for the venue. With extensive experience in venue management, Eric has held key positions including President of One Off Productions LLC since March 2005, where responsibilities involve team coordination and project management for various entertainment events. Previous roles include General Manager and Booking Manager for Tech Port Arena, Event Programming and Booking Manager at Alamodome, and leadership positions across multiple venues, overseeing operations, bookings, and financial aspects. Eric's background also includes significant contributions to venue development and successful event execution for numerous high-profile clients across the entertainment industry.

The Cow Palace is officially the 1-A District Agricultural Association, a State agency of the California Department of Food and Agriculture's Division of Fairs and Expositions. Their mission statement is to promote and showcase a variety of entertainment and events to serve the needs and reflect the cultural diversity of the community, conduct annually a unique event, The Grand National Livestock Expo, Horse Show, & Rodeo, and continue to encourage youth participation in the agricultural industry and to provide a well-managed, year round multi use facility for the use and enjoyment of the Bay Area and surrounding communities.
