Alan Sneddon

Alan Sneddon is a Senior Project Manager at COWI since September 2021, with a substantial background in the nuclear engineering sector. Prior to this role, Alan worked at Atkins from October 2011 to August 2021, serving as a Senior Engineer and Team Leader within the Nuclear New Build Safety team. Key positions held at Atkins included Project Manager for the Sizewell C project and regulatory engineer for the Hinkley Point C project. Alan's early career included roles as a Senior Engineer at BAE Systems Maritime – Submarines, focusing on the Astute submarine program, and as a Graduate Engineer in the BAE Systems Graduate Development Framework. Alan holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics from The University of Edinburgh, obtained in 2006.
