Angel Fernandez Sarabia

Angel Fernandez Sarabia is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in the offshore wind sector. Currently serving as the Lead Electrical Specialist at COWI since March 2019, Angel oversees the electrical engineering for both onshore and offshore substations, particularly for the Firefly/Bandibuli Project and the Vineyard Offshore Wind Farm in Boston. Prior roles include Principal Electrical Engineer at E.ON, where responsibilities focused on the electrical offshore substation and grid connection for the Arkona project, and Senior Electrical Engineer at Semco Maritime, specializing in grid connection studies for the Bligh Bank Offshore wind farm. Angel began a career in consulting as a Consulting Engineer at ÅF-Hansen & Henneberg A/S, contributing to high voltage installation design for the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link project. Academic qualifications include degrees in Electrical Power Systems from Aalborg University and a Master in Industrial Engineering from León University.
