Lone Klinkby

Lone Klinkby has extensive work experience in the field of geoscience and business development. Lone started their career at GEUS as a researcher and senior advisor from 1998 to 2005. Lone then worked as a consultant at the University of Southern Denmark from 2005 to 2008. After that, they joined Vattenfall as a geophysicist from 2008 to 2011. Lone later joined COWI, where they held various positions including Market Director and Head of Section Geoscience. Currently, they hold the role of Business Development Director and Regionsdirektør at COWI. Lone's specialization lies in geological and geophysical mapping, project management, and seismic data interpretation.

Lone Klinkby obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Århus Universitet from 1987 to 1998. Prior to that, from 1981 to 1984, Lone completed a Samfundsfag Studentereksamen at Viborg Katedralskole.
