Abdul Rehman

Abdul Rehman has a diverse range of work experience in the field of mechanical design engineering and production engineering. Abdul is currently working at Cowlar Design Studio as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Prior to that, they held the position of a Mechanical Design Engineer and Product Designer at an undisclosed company from 2020. From 2021 to 2021, they worked as a Production Engineer at Oil and Gas Development Company Ltd. Pakistan. Abdul also has experience as a Design Manager at Castpro Engineering from 2019 to 2020. Abdul has completed a summer internship at OGDCL Nashpa Oil & LPG Plant in 2019, where they gained knowledge in oil, gas, and LPG processing and oversaw the installation and maintenance of equipment. Additionally, Abdul has participated in internships at MOL Pakistan Oil & Gas Co. B.V. and Oil & Gas Development Company Ltd., where they learned about maintenance practices, upstream processes in the oil and gas industry, and power generation for plants.

Abdul Rehman holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Capital University of Science & Technology. In terms of certifications, they obtained the SOLIDWORKS Associate - Mechanical Design (CSWA) certification from Dassault Systèmes in March 2021. In March 2020, they also obtained the Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional certification from the same institution. Additionally, they completed the Reverse Engineering Foundations: Product Design course from LinkedIn e-learning in February 2020. In September 2019, they completed the Cert Prep: Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional course and the Excel Essential Training (Office 365) course, both from LinkedIn. In December 2016, Abdul Rehman achieved the first position in the ASME WATER ROCKET COMPETITION 2016 organized by ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers). Lastly, they received a Bronze Medal in the Kangaroo Mathematics competition held by Math Kangaroo in USA, NFP. in May 2008.
