Edward Popoola

Edward Popoola has a diverse work experience with various companies. Edward is the CTO/Co-founder of CowryWise since 2017. Prior to that, they worked at African Advantage Telecoms West Africa Limited from 2015 to 2017 as a Technical Director, responsible for managing development and technical infrastructure teams and designing solution offerings. From 2011 to 2015, they held multiple roles at African Advantage Telecoms, including Team Lead Infrastructure Support & Integration and Integration Specialist/Support Engineer. Edward also worked as an Infrastructure Analyst at Interswitch Group from 2010 to 2011. Earlier in their career, they served as a Technical Consultant at Nixarus and Qrios Networks in 2009 and 2008 respectively.

Edward Popoola completed a B.Sc in Computer Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University between 2002 and 2008. In 2016 and 2017, they obtained an Innovation & Entrepreneurship Certificate from the Stanford Center for Professional Development at Stanford University.
