Mike Penz

Mike Penz is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Cox Automotive Inc. since January 2025, following the acquisition of Fyusion Inc., Mike also operates as a freelancer specializing in Android, backend, and web development since February 2015. Previously, Mike held multiple positions at Fyusion Inc. from September 2016 to December 2024, including Director of Engineering and Head of Android Engineering. Prior experience includes leading the backend team at Netural GmbH and serving as a sanitäter at Österreichisches Rotes Kreuz. Mike's career began with a role as a Praktikant at Gumpinger Software and has been backed by a relevant educational background from HTBLA Leonding, where Mike earned a degree in EDVO & Organisation / Medientechnik.
