Erin Monroe serves as the Market Vice President for Greater Louisiana at Cox Communications, overseeing market operations in Baton Rouge and Lafayette, and managing a workforce of 700 employees since October 2019. Prior to this role, Erin held the position of Vice President of Government and Public Affairs for the Southeast Region, enhancing Cox's reputation through effective media relations and community engagement. Erin's extensive experience includes serving as Special Counsel for the Office of the Governor of Louisiana, where policy development and advocacy were key responsibilities, and as Executive Vice President & COO at the Baton Rouge Area Chamber, managing a 1,400-member organization. Additional roles include legal advisory positions in the Office of the Lieutenant Governor and the Office of the Governor, as well as staff attorney for the Louisiana State Senate. Erin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University and a Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center.
