Hasumati Patel

Hasumati Patel serves as the AVP, Associate General Counsel for Growth & Infrastructure at Cox Enterprises since August 2008, also holding a previous role as AVP, Associate General Counsel for Commercial Operations at Cox Communications. Prior to this, Hasumati Patel worked at Sprint Nextel Corporation from May 2000 to August 2008 as Counsel, where responsibilities included negotiating master license agreements and providing legal counsel related to real estate law in telecommunications. Additionally, Hasumati Patel practiced as an Associate in private practice from May 1990 to May 2002, focusing on corporate law, ERISA, and contract law. Educational qualifications include an LL.B (with Honors) from Middlesex University, United Kingdom, and an LL.M in Taxation from The College of William and Mary, Marshall Wythe Law School, Virginia.
