Alexandra Fruin

Alexandra Fruin currently serves as the Executive Producer for the Washington News Bureau at Cox Media Group, overseeing editorial operations for eight local TV stations across seven states. Prior experience includes a tenure at NBC Washington, where Alexandra held various managerial roles, including 6pm and 11pm Platform Manager, producing high-rated newscasts and leading teams in content production and viewer engagement strategies. Past positions also include producer at WPLG and WINK-TV, as well as executive producer for the student-run newscast "NewsVision" at the University of Miami. Alexandra's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science from the University of Miami and a semester studying Political Science and International Relations at Semester at Sea.
