Jillian Gorbold, CPHR, MA (Leadership), has a diverse range of work experience in various industries and positions. Starting their career at Irving Oil, they held sales positions and advanced into management roles with responsibilities such as sales, revenue, financial budgets, organizational reviews, team management, and customer service. Jillian later joined Direct Energy Business Services as a Business Development Manager, where they built and maintained business relationships and developed strategies to mitigate economic risk. Jillian then worked at the Region of Peel in manager and director roles, leading program development, policy development, and project management. At Nova Scotia Business Inc., they served as the Director of Account Management, focusing on business development and sustainability. Jillian also worked at Cox & Palmer as the Director of Professional Talent, focusing on leadership development and organizational effectiveness. Most recently, they joined Ashton College as a Leadership Course Instructor, teaching courses in leadership, Human Resources, and coaching. Throughout their career, Jillian has been dedicated to helping individuals and organizations be their best.

Jillian Gorbold, CPHR, MA (Leadership) has a comprehensive education history that includes a variety of certifications and degrees. Jillian completed studies related to a Bachelor of Commerce at Saint Mary's University from 2000 to 2003. In 2013, they pursued a Masters Certificate in Public Sector Leadership at the Schulich School of Business - York University. Jillian also attended the University of Guelph from 2016 to 2018, where they earned a Master of Arts (MA) in Leadership.

In terms of certifications, Jillian obtained the Chartered Professional in Human Resource (CPHR) designation from CPHR Nova Scotia in October 2022. Jillian also obtained several other certifications, including the Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification from Sheridan College in 2021, the Executive Coaching Certification from the Certified Coaches Federation in 2018, and the Human Resource Management in Public and Not-For-Profit Sectors certification from the Human Resource Professional Association in 2018.
