Abrar Ahmed

Abrar Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Abrar is the founder and advisor of Cozera since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as the founder, CEO, and president of Cozera from October 2017 to March 2023, where they developed and led the id-go digital identity service. During this time, they received recognition and awards for their innovative technology.

In 2023, Abrar founded the company ZenSecured, where they currently hold the positions of CEO and Chief Information Security Officer.

From 2015 to 2017, they served as the CIO, CISO, and SVP Technology at SureID Inc., where they played a key role in driving revenue growth and establishing strategic partnerships. Prior to that, they were the Group President of SureID, responsible for managing the core enterprise operations and achieving substantial revenue growth.

At SureID from 2007 to 2013, Abrar held various leadership positions, including EVP of Business Development and Technology, SVP of Business Development and Technology, and Vice President of Product and Engineering. Abrar was instrumental in increasing sales and acquiring key programs in North America.

Before their time at SureID, Abrar worked as the VP of Business Development and Sales at Kietra Corporation in 2006, where they focused on revenue cycle management solutions.

From 2002 to 2005, they served as the Director of OEM National Sales at Micro Power Electronics, where they successfully built a nationwide sales organization and achieved significant sales growth.

Abrar also gained experience at GeoTrust as the Director of Business Development and New Products from 2001 to 2002, driving new business growth and establishing strategic alliances and partnerships.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Mentor Graphics from 1999 to 2001, primarily in product management and alliances.

Abrar's entrepreneurial journey began in 1995 when they founded and served as the CEO of JaalNet, a pioneer in ecommerce for expatriate Pakistanis. Abrar successfully operated the first ever online shop for this demographic.

Before establishing JaalNet, they held the position of Managing Director at SYSTEMS ENGINEERING LIMITED from 1993 to 1999.
