Ihsan Karatas

Ihsan Karatas is an experienced professional in the field of artificial intelligence and computer vision. Currently serving as the Director of Artificial Intelligence at Çözüm Makina since January 2024, Ihsan is involved in the development of a real-time location tracking application with cameras and occupational health and safety products in embedded vision systems. Prior roles include Computer Vision Engineer at Bon Intelligence, where Ihsan developed a queue management system and customer heatmaps, and at Cozum Makina, where the creation of a mask and social distance detection system was a key project. An earlier position as a Computer Vision Software Engineer at SBI Bilişim A.S. focused on object recognition in drone footage and real-time emotion detection. Academically, Ihsan holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Okan University and a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering from Gazi University.
