Keith Lownie

Keith Lownie is a seasoned finance and accounting professional with extensive experience in both academia and practice. As the owner of Forefront Consulting Ltd. since November 2018, Lownie provides cloud-based bookkeeping and advisory services to small businesses. Concurrently, Lownie has served as an Associate Professor at the University of the Fraser Valley since 2006, teaching various accounting courses. Lownie also delivers workshops for CPA Canada and facilitates training for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC. Previous roles include an instructor at BCIT, an investment executive at ScotiaMcLeod, and controller at Waldun Forest Products Ltd., with early career experience as an accountant at KPMG Canada. Lownie holds multiple professional designations, including CPA, CFP, and CIM, and has an MBA from Simon Fraser University.
