Laurence Ling, MA, CPA, CMA, has extensive experience in both academic and professional fields. Currently serving as a Mentor, Case Adjudicator, and Board Member for the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia, Laurence has contributed significantly to the organization since October 2009. In a dual role at HOPE International School Co LTD, Laurence acts as a Missionary while previously serving as a Professor at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and Douglas College. Prior to these academic positions, Laurence held various senior roles at TELUS, with responsibilities in marketing, capital planning, and financial analysis. Laurence's early career included significant responsibilities in pricing and accounting at multiple organizations, managing over $30M in revenue and operating expenses. Academically, Laurence has earned a Master of Arts in Negotiation & Mediation from Royal Roads University and is a CPA, CMA, recognized in the top 10% nationally for analytical skills. Additional qualifications include a CELTA Graduate status from the University of Cambridge.
