Bill Thomas

Bill Thomas has been working in the IT industry since 1990. Bill began their career at Vanstar Consulting as a Consulting Engineer. From 1996 to 2000, they worked as a System Engineer at 3Com, providing pre-sales technical consulting for the IXC group focused on AT&T. Bill then moved on to Packeteer as a Consulting Engineer, providing pre-sales technical support to the Eastern Region Sales staff. In 2006, they held a Senior System Engineer position at Orbital Data/Citrix, focusing on WAN optimization. Bill also worked as a System Engineer at Signiant Corp. the same year. From 2007 to 2011, Bill Thomas worked at Mazu Networks as a Senior Solutions Engineer and Exinda Networks as a Systems Engineer. In 2011, they joined NetApp as a Consulting System Engineer, providing pre-sales technical support to the SANSTREAM sales force. Since 2017, they have been employed at cPacket Networks, Inc. as a Solutions Engineer, helping customers with their Distributed Monitoring Architecture.

Bill Thomas attended NetApp U in 2010 and has attended Rutgers University and Christian Brothers Academy at some point in their educational career.
