Pieter Hasekamp

Pieter Hasekamp is a seasoned expert in economics and public policy, currently serving as Directeur at Centraal Planbureau and Kroonlid at Sociaal-Economische Raad since March 2020. In addition, Pieter holds the position of Onafhankelijk commissaris/voorzitter RvC at Geldmaat and is a member of the Raad van Advies at IIA Nederland. Previously, Pieter was the Loco secretaris-generaal and Director-General for Tax and Customs Policy & Legislation at the Ministry of Finance, Netherlands, from May 2015 to March 2020. Pieter’s extensive experience includes leadership roles at Zorgverzekeraars Nederland as Algemeen Directeur and contributions to various advisory boards. Pieter obtained a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute and an MA in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
