Shao Yen Tan

Shao Yen Tan is a seasoned architectural professional with over 20 years of experience, currently serving as Deputy Group CEO and Group Chief Innovation Officer at CPG Corporation since February 2019. In this role, Shao Yen aims to create innovative urban solutions, leveraging the diverse capabilities of CPG's subsidiaries to develop integrated services like Smart City Planning and Biophilic Built Environment. Additionally, since January 2016, Shao Yen has held the position of President at the Board of Architects Singapore, which oversees the Architects Act. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Executive Officer at CPG Consultants from June 2001 to February 2019, and various leadership roles within the company, overseeing significant projects across Asia. Shao Yen's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Architecture (Honours) from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Science in Sustainable Building Design from the University of Nottingham.
