Talar joined CPI’s New York City office in 2023 and focuses on searches for non-investment roles within buy-side firms and their portfolio companies.

Prior to joining CPI, Talar was a Managing Director at a boutique private equity recruiting firm where she focused on investment professional recruiting across private equity and credit firms. In this role, Talar led searches ranging from Analyst to Principal levels, varying from first-time funds to mega-fund clients.

Before moving into recruiting, Talar was a Vice President in Institutional Equity Sales at Credit Suisse, primarily covering multi-manager hedge funds in the tri-state area. While at Credit Suisse, she co-ran the desk’s summer internship program and was involved in the firm’s Women’s Mentorship Program.

Talar is a graduate of Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, where she graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Finance and International Business and a minor in Studio A
