Hannes Schmidpeter

Hannes Schmidpeter is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as Engineering Manager at cplace since January 2023. Previously, Hannes held the position of Director of Engineering at IDnow, a prominent European identity verification platform, from September 2022 to January 2023. Prior roles include Head of Engineering at KONUX, providing AI and IoT solutions for railway infrastructure, and Vice President of Software Development at IFAP, which offers medical software solutions. Hannes also served as Head of Web & Server Engineering at Brainloop and held senior engineering positions at Pharmatechnik and Wacker Chemie. Hannes began the career at sd&m AG, now known as Capgemini, after earning a Diplom Informatiker degree from the Technical University of Munich. Notable expertise includes SaaS, AWS, microservices, and various programming languages such as Python, Java, and React.
