Lauren Zapien

Lauren Zapien is an experienced fundraising and development professional currently serving as the Annual Fund Manager at Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. since June 2023. Previously, Lauren held the position of Development Manager at Southwest Center from May 2022 to May 2023. Lauren's extensive background in membership and events includes roles such as Membership and Events Manager and Membership, Stewardship and Engagement Coordinator at Scottsdale Arts from January 2017 to May 2022. Additionally, Lauren gained experience at the Children's Museum of Phoenix in various membership and group coordination roles from May 2008 to January 2017, and started a career at the Phoenix Art Museum as a Patron Services Associate in early 2008. Lauren holds a High School Diploma in Dance, Fine Arts from the Metropolitan Arts Institute, a Computer Graphic Design CCL from Phoenix College, and an Associate’s Degree in Dance Performance from Scottsdale Community College.
