Mehran Ghadiri

Mehran Ghadiri is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in refugee support and community development. Currently serving as the Refugee Re-Empowerment Project Manager at Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc., Mehran also has a background in youth refugee case management. As the Managing Director of Shakiba Productions LLC since February 2020, Mehran works to address social, economic, and political issues through film and activism. Previous roles include Producer at Denizen Studios and Economic and Community Development Manager at Eigigu Solutions Corporation, where Mehran led programs for refugees in Nauru, overseeing teams and managing community engagement. Additionally, positions at HOST International Ltd and Multicultural Australia reflect a strong commitment to employment services and capacity building for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities. An academic background includes a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Studies from The University of Queensland.
