Ed Drew

Ed Drew is the current Regional VP, Mid-Central at CPower Energy Management. Ed has held this position since December of 2018. Prior to their current role, they were a Business Development Consultant/Advisor for Blue Pillar, Inc. from June 2018 to December 2018. In this role, they were responsible for simplifying the Energy Network of Things.

From July 2009 to December 2017, Ed served as the Vice President, Utility Solutions for NRTC. In this role, they grew a team of 15+ and managed P&L growth to 35M+ by identifying needs and supplying the Electric Utility and vendor community with advanced technologies, project management and deployment services. With a deep technical and business understanding, plus exposure to all aspects of business case analysis and value proposition creation across nearly every viable communications method for Smart Grid (AMI/AMR, Demand Response, Distribution Automation, distributed generation and other T&D automation requirements) and Utility Scale Solar, Ed was able to successfully grow the team and business.

From March 2008 to July 2009, Ed served as the Director, Utility Solutions for KORE Telematics. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the team that supplied advanced technologies, project management and deployment services to the Electric Utility and vendor community.

From January 2018 to January 2019, Ed served as the Owner of Etlan Technologies, LLC. In this role, they were responsible for the overall operation of the company.

From May 2007 to February 2008, Ed served as the VP of Business Development and Sales for Corporate Systems Engineering, LLC. In this role, they were responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential customers.

Ed Drew's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy, with a minor in French. Ed is also a qualified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Engineer.
